Moscow City, now called Moscow International Business Centre (IBC), is a large commercial development zone situated in the Presnensky District in Western Moscow. The goal of the Moscow IBC is to create the first mixed development zone in Russia combining business activities, residential areas and entertainment. It is planned as a city within the city.

2.5 million square meters will be created until Until 2020. Important structures in Moscow-City are the Federation Tower (2005-2013) designed by architects Peter P. Schweger and Sergei Tchoban, the Northern Tower (2006-2008) by Projektinstitut-2, the Embankment Tower (2005-2008) by ENKA Construction Corperation and the Capital City Towers project (2006-2009) by NBBJ and Erik van Egeraat.
