On Buschallee, a boulevard with a tram line in the middle, in the Berlin district of Weissensee, Bruno Taut built 600 flats for the trade union owned building society GEHAG for whom he was an advisor. The complex, a row of four-storey flats which stretch for more than 1000 metres along Buschallee. The buildings consisting of six blocks were developed in four phases between 1925 and 1930. The facades were renovated in 1993.

The Buschallee was built roughly at the same time as the Parrot House nearby.
