The building of the theatre closes the front facade of the central Nova Gorica market established by the neoclassical building of the municipal assembly architect Vinko Glanz (1947). The motif on the front of the pillar relates to the arcade hall of the municipal assembly. Colonnade facade combines two formal elements of diversified architectural composition, prismatic volume of the auditorium and theater administration cylindrical body with changing rooms. Volumetric system is based on changing one volume to another; circular auditorium is cut in the space of the stage, dressing rooms tract round with a hollow core (alternative venue) burrowing into the foyer space. The dramatic sequence of spatial sequences should be to meet the pre theater events.
