National Center for Contemporary Art Moscow Change this
Description Change this
The National Center for Contemporary Art (NCCA) is a museum, exhibition and research organization and is a five-storey structure, located in a residential area, close to the zoo. The museum was a former factory for theater and stage design. Striking is the external supporting structure.
On the facade a metal frame was arrested. It has a static as well as an aesthetic function. The old brick walls from the former factory are still visible, only a patchwork of red panels, columns, and tubing gives the building a new post-industrial look.
