Description Change this

The construction of the Pohorje cable car is part of a comprehensive study of the regulation of Pohorje. The building represents a modern design of different volumes on the ridge, clad in wood paneling or stone. The central element of the design is a glass catering facility under a steep gabled roof that connects to the volume of the funicular station. All the dimensions and articulation of individual elements are important, as well as all the materials used - wood, stone, transparent glass and the ingrowth of the whole into a natural passepartout.

The renovated Bellevue Hotel received its first guests at the end of the year 2006. At the final station of the Pohorje cable car at an altitude of 1,050 meters, the Bellevue Hotel in new guises can be seen in exceptional locations with a beautiful view of the city of Maribor. The project of its renovation was also co-financed with European money. The hotel offers 42 comfortable double rooms with the possibility of an extra bed and other suites.
