Josef Pleskot, the Czech architect designed the "Gong" - a multifunctional auditorium.

National Cultural Monument - a unique Gas Container built by Vitkovice ironworks in1924 was converted into a multifunction auditorium with the name GONG. The new unconventional centre was created as a sensitive modern in-built construction on inside the Gas Container and it is prepared to be used for educational - cultural - social events and for conference, congress and exhibitions.

Public Gallery is located on the ground floor and is used for various exhibitions, offers special for possibility of exhibiting for large-scale objects. The architectural solutions were hoisting sunken bell gascontainer to the maximum position and the restoration of its full majesty-new built practically not touching the gas tank leaves trail off its original design and monumentality. New construction combined concrete and steel, towers and ceiling panels above the gallery and conference sections of reinforced concrete platform in the space above the stage, original riveted steel structures including floor left the industrial character.
