Description Change this

The City of Arts and Science is a huge complex outside of Valencia which consists of a sculpture park (L´Umbracle), an aquarium (L´Oceanogràfic also called Oceanographique, designed by Felix Candela), a science museum, a cinema (L´Hemisfèric), and an entertainment and a concert hall (Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía). It was designed and developed by the internationally acclaimed Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava. The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía is the final segment of Valencia's City of Arts and Sciences, following the opening of L´Hemisfèric in 1998, the Prince Felipe Science Museum and L´Umbracle in 2000 and the opening to the public of L´Oceanogràfic in 2003. The Palau which is Catalan for palace is due to open in 2009.
