MODOURBANO is a network of professionals coming from different cultural backgrounds and with wide international experience. Founded in early 2010, MODOURBANO is engaged in the development of innovative & sustainable solutions for contemporary architecture, design.

In addition to the design activity, MODOURBANO associates are also committed to knowledge dissemination in the field of urban sustainability, through the organization of cultural events, a diverse production essays, articles and reportages published on manifold media. Headquarters are based in Milan (Italy) and Beijing (P.R.China); activities are operated on the axes Italy/China, taking advantage from related time zones & working environments.

In year 2010 MODOURBANO has participated in several international events. The 'Certosa Island (Venice, Italy) Off-Grid project', carried out together with Vento di Venezia and La Fabbrica del Sole, was invited to the Shanghai 2010 World Expo/Venice Exhibition and, then, selected to take part in the official program of the 12 International Architecture Exhibition (Biennale of Venice), within the Italian Pavilion 'AILATI. Reflections of the Future', curated by arch. Luca Molinari.

MONDOURBANO are:

Alessandro Costa (1970)Holds a PhD in Environmental Science at the Ca'Foscari University of Venice. He served for 6 years as expert on sustainable urban development at the Sino-Italian Collaboration Program for Environmental Protection, promoted in China by the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea. Starting from year 1999 he has been researching on similar disciplinary fields at the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei. His international experience includes activities in Spain, Australia and South Africa. In year 2010 he co-founded MODOURBANO.

Marco Zuttioni (1977)Architect, studied at Istituto Universitario di Architettura of Venice (IUAV) and at Escuela Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura of Madrid (ETSAM). From year 2004 to year 2005 he worked as Project Architect at MAD Ltd. in Beijing. From year 2005 to 2009 as Chief Architect at ARCHEA Associati in Beijing and Milan. He is also correspondent for international design magazines Area, Materia and Sole24Ore Editorial Group. In year 2010 he co-founded MODOURBANO.

Stefano Cergna (1972)Architect, studied at Istituto Universitario di Architettura of Venice (IUAV). Between year 2006 and 2007, he was visiting professor at Technische Universitat in Graz (Austria) at Architectural Department. From year 2002 he freelanced for different design offices in Italy, as Project Architect. He is a Klimahaus expert in sustainability and energy efficient building design. From year 2010 he has become partner in MODOURBANO.

Eugenia Murialdo (1978)Architect, studied at University of Genoa, at Institut Francais d'Urbanisme (IFU) and at Ecole Superieure d'Architecture de Paris Belleville (ENSA-PB). From year 2004 to year 2008 she worked as Project Architect at ARCHEA Associati in Genoa and in Beijing. From year 2009 to 2010 she worked as Chief Architect at ARCHEA Associati in Beijing. She cooperated with Area China. From year 2011 she has become partner in MODOURBANO, in charge of Beijing branch.

Luca Romagnoli (1978)Architect, studied at Faculty of Architecture of the University of Florence, where he was researcher. From year 2006 to 2007 he worked as Project Architect at Studio Spira in Florence. He worked from year 2007 to 2011 as Project Leader and Chief Architect at Archea Associati in Dubai and Milan. He has collaborated with the magazine Materia of the Sole24Ore publishing group. From year 2011 he has become partner in MODOURBANO.
