About Change this

Max Dudler (b. November 18th, 1949) is an architect from Altenrhein, Switzerland. He studied at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main and later at the Academy of Arts in Berlin with Ludwig Leo. Early on he worked with Oswald Mathias Ungers where he developed his style as an architectural realist employing strict geometric designs. He has held teaching positions and had exhibitions both in Germany and Italy. Currently Dudler is Professor for Architecture at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf.

In 1992, Max Dudler founded his own practice with offices in Berlin and Zürich. Amongst his building solutions are public buildings in the capital city of Germany or high rise buildings in Zürich. Max Dudler became well known for his grid facades created with glass, metal or stone, such as the development of the train station forecourt in Mannheim (1995) or his 1990s Berlin buildings.
