Dries Kreijkamp, a Dutch artist, followed several art-related courses and he was glass developer in the Royal Dutch glassworks in Leerdam. The artist recognizes the shape of a sphere as the most organic and natural form in nature. For this reason, on 1965, he developed his first "bolwoningen" in Denmark, made of wood and aluminum. This experimental housing research also, brings him to construct the better know "bolwoningen" built in Den Bosch around 1984.
