Bruno Fioretti Marquez, an architectural office devoted to architecture and urbanism, was founded by Prof. Piero Bruno, Prof. Donatella Fioretti, and Prof. Jose Gutierrez Marquez in Berlin in 1995.

The office has won numerous prizes at national and international competitions, among them the Bauhaus-Archiv Museum fur Gestaltung and the Museum of the 20th Century in Berlin, the Konzerthaus in Nuremberg, the extension to the Josef Albers Museum Quadrat in Bottrop, and the Visitors Center at Tempelhof. Most of the office's completed and ongoing projects are the results of a 1st prize in competitions, among them the University in Lugano, the Ebracher Hof Ensemble in Schweinfurt, a library in Berlin, the signal tower for the Gotthard Base Tunnel in Pollegio, kindergartens in Lugano and Karlsruhe, the Bauhaus Master Houses in Dessau, the extension of the Bruno Taut Siedlung in Schiller Park in Berlin, the refurbishment and extension of Schloss Wittenberg, the Potsdam University Campus at the Neues Palais, and the extension of the historical ensemble of the Landratsamt in Neustadt an der Waldnaab, as well as a housing and office complex at Elisabeth Platz in Munich.

The main focus for these architects is on cultural, residential, and educational buildings, particularly in the context of UNESCO World Heritage sites. Works by Bruno Fioretti Marquez have been presented at various exhibitions and published in a wide range of specialist literature. The office has received awards and citations for design excellence, among them the Detail Special Award, the Hugo Haring Award, the BDA Award Berlin, the DAM Award for Architecture in Germany, the Deutscher Ziegelpreis (German Brick Award), and the Hannes-Meyer-Award.

Their work as architects has developed along with their work as teachers through lectures, workshops and summer academies at various universities in Europe and America. Piero Bruno currently teaches at the University of Stuttgart, Donatella Fioretti at the Kunstakademie Dusseldorf and Jose Gutierrez Marquez at the Bauhaus-Universitat Weimar.
