Bioplarch is a scientific research project currently under process and conducted by Esen Gokce Ozdamar with researchers Ahmet Bal (Construction Engineering), Sermin Senturk (Architecture student), supervised by Assoc. Esen Gokce Ozdamar is Assistant Professor, founder and Head of Department of Architecture at Namik Kemal University, Tekirdag. She is the principal investigator of Bioplarch reseach team (2016-17) at the same university. She received her Masters degree (MSc) and PhD from Architectural Design programme in Istanbul Technical University in 2003 and 2011. Her PhD focused on an experimental approach to transdisciplinary methodology through re-reading housing areas in Istanbul, Vienna and Amsterdam. She was a guest researcher in Delft University of Technology in 2007. Since her graduation she has worked in several architectural offices varying from large scale housing complex to public building, interior design and has attended various international competitions and art exhibitions. Her current research focuses on transdisciplinary methodology, contemporary housing, kinesthetic perception and haptic space.

Ahmet Bal is Lecturer of Construction Division in Namik Kemal University, Tekirdag. He holds MSc in earthquake engineering programme from Istanbul Technical University.He continues PhD education in structural engineering programme from Istanbul Technical University. He studies on construction materials and response control design and retrofit of RC building.

Sermin Senturk is a third year architecture student at Namik Kemal University, Department of Architecture.

Murat Ates received his BSc in 1997 at the Chemical Education Department of the Middle East Technical University, Turkey. He has graduated MSc in 2001 from Chemistry departmant and PhD in 2007 from Polymer Science and Technology, Istanbul Technical University. He is working as Assoc.Prof. at Chemistry Department, Physical Chemistry Division, Namik Kemal University, Tekirdag
